Vocal Production

Vocal Pedagogy
The learner will be able to demonstrate an understanding of how and why their voice produces sound (7.1.2). Learner will be able to identify why and why not there is proper vocal production. Learner will have a continued understanding of proper vocal health.

Singing Alone
The learner will be able to sing a given melody on pitch and in tempo, with more attention to dynamic contrasts and phrasing that expresses the lyrics (7.1.1). Learners will sing with proper breath support, and pronunciation, while sitting or standing (7.1.2).

Singing With Others
The learner will be able to the learners will sing as a group accurately and expressively, with proper tone throughout their vocal range. They will use clear diction and good posture. The learners will gain a better understanding of blend and working as an ensemble. The learners will sing a variety of pieces from different musical eras and cultures. Note Names - Treble Clef
